Fill a Backpack Fuel a Dream

Heroes of Hope Foundation is proud to launch our Fill a Backpack… Fuel a Dream campaign in partnership with Lutheran Social Services to provide backpacks and school supplies for local children entering foster care.
For many children entering foster care, a new school year can bring uncertainty and change. A backpack filled with new school supplies can’t erase those challenges, but it can provide confidence, encouragement, and a reminder that their community cares.

Through our partnership with Lutheran Social Services, every backpack and school supply donated will be distributed directly to local children in foster care, helping them begin the school year with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Our Goal
50 fully stocked backpacks for local foster children.
Donation Deadline

Please donate by August 15 so backpacks can be distributed before the new school year begins.

Calling All Local Businesses!
We’re looking for additional businesses that would be willing to serve as community donation drop-off locations.
Not only will you help collect school supplies for our Fill a Backpack… Fuel a Dream campaign, but you’ll also help support our upcoming Hope Bags initiative. Hope Bags provide comfort items and everyday essentials for children who are unexpectedly removed from their homes and enter foster care with few or no personal belongings.
